Position Details

We are seeking a Correspondence Officer who will be responsible for the research, coordination and delivery of key Divisional communication, correspondence and reports. Both contributing to and drawing from complex data and information across the division, the role actively supports VBA compliance and enforcement functions to provide comprehensive and timely responses to a range of stakeholders across the business, Government departments, authorities and Industry.

This role will examine, source material and collate statistics and prepare a range of preliminary written correspondence including departmental, ministerial and CEO briefs and memoranda, reports, and presentations.  


Key Selection Criteria

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated experience in a research, coordination and correspondence based support role, with proven experience in delivering accurate, timely and concise communications and reports. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and liaison skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships, convey ideas, clarify requirements and partner closely with the business to achieve organisational outcomes.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with demonstrated experience in developing effective responses to matters and adapting content for various target audiences.
  • Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills, with experience in filtering case detail to isolate issues, navigating complex processes and preparing preliminary responses.

Salary Details

Salary package Grade 4 in the range of $81,354 - $92,304 per annum (plus 9.5% super), will be negotiated with the successful candidate, depending on skills and experience.
