Position Details

CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER

The Chief Information Officer role provides vision and leadership of the department's enterprise information, communication and technology (ICT) services and systems. The position leads the planning and implementation of enterprise ICT systems, infrastructure and data in support of business operations to improve cost effectiveness, service quality and business improvement. The role will work closely with Transport Operations and any related portfolio agencies to ensure alignment and consistency across the department. The CIO and their team engage with other divisions to ensure ICT systems and services are appropriately designed, governed, and delivered in the context of building a “one team” environment.
