About the role: 

• The Senior Policy Officer will provide policy options and advice, and program design and delivery of community health programs in Victoria. The role supports the design, development and implementation of initiatives and programs such as the Community Health reform agenda and the Chronic Disease Pathway Program. The position will also be involved in identify and progressing opportunities associated with both Commonwealth and Victorian Government reforms to progress and maximise opportunities to strengthen community health to address hospital demand.

• The position will liaise and consult with a range of stakeholders such as Community Health First and the Alliance of Rural and Regional Community Health (ARRCH), Community Health Services and NGOs.

About you:

• An appropriate tertiary qualification relevant to the community health or primary care or public administration is desirable
• Experience working in the community health and primary care sectors is an advantage.
