About COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria

COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria (CQV) was established on 1 December 2020 to administer the COVID-19 Accommodation Program for the Victorian Government. Its purpose is to protect the Victorian community from COVID-19 by providing safe and secure quarantine accommodation.

CQV operates the Victorian hotel quarantine program in metropolitan Melbourne and will run a dedicated quarantine facility in Mickleham, opening in early 2022.

About The Role

This role supports a team of assistant managers and practitioners to conduct telephone welfare check calls using a Service Now triage tool, spreadsheets, and email and is responsible for managing the provision of information reaching the IIATS team, to ensure timely information is available and accurate for delivering the service efficiently.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Provide expert advice, guidance and support to the team of practitioners, including comprehensive, inductions, training in all aspects of their role.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, key business units and sector/community groups to develop best practice protocols, standards and guides for the team.
  • Assist the call center supervisor with rostering and payroll management

This role is based in Melbourne CBD, however, is performed remotely where restrictions apply.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Knowledge of automated telephony technology preferred.
  • Specialist knowledge and expertise to address complex problems, gathering relevant information, generating, and testing a range of solutions and outcomes.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the objectives of the work area and the organisation and shows considerable drive and effort in achieving work targets
