About COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria 

COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria (CQV) was established on 1 December 2020 to administer the COVID-19 Accommodation Program for the Victorian Government. Its purpose is to protect the Victorian community from COVID-19 by providing safe and secure quarantine accommodation.

CQV operates the Victorian hotel quarantine program in metropolitan Melbourne and will run a dedicated quarantine facility in Mickleham, opening in early 2022.

About The Role 

  • As the Test Automation Analyst, you will be Collaborating with developers, business analysts and users to understand testing needs and identify opportunities for automated testing.
  • Ensuring that automated test scripts are created, maintained, and executed to meet software release deliverables and project testing requirements
  • You will work to Promote a strong internal service culture, ensuring a service delivery approach that is responsive to the operational and strategic needs of the organisation.
  • Contribute to robust discussion regarding all aspects of ICT projects, service, support, infrastructure, design, policy, process and business planning.

About You 

  • Provide testing services for the development of the CWMS development including: Senior Consultant (DevOps + Automation)
  • Test Automation (Frontend-UI and Backend-API), pipeline configuration
  • Test Automation Build maintenance (Smoke, Regression builds), Rest API end point creation
  • Automation test planning / reporting (via Azure DevOps), SQL skills and Knowledge in Jira
  • Understanding and application of process improvement techniques and thorough knowledge of current issues and trends in Information Technology.

You must be willing to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with two doses of an approved vaccine, remain compliant with IPC procedures in place, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (and therefore being clean shaven) and participating in staff COVID-19 testing.

Out of hours contact, and weekend work, will be required from time to time.
