About us
Enforcement and Support Services (ESS) is a business unit of Civil and Enforcement Services (CES) and manages the administration and enforcement of infringement and court fines across the state.
Enforcement and Support Services administers a range of social justice initiatives, such as the Work and Development Permit Scheme, Family Violence Scheme and Time Served Scheme.
About the role:
The review officer will work within ESS, a business unit of CES. Review officers primarily deal with applications submitted by members of the public seeking a review of registered infringement fines, and applications for payment arrangement.
Some of your duties will include:
- Providing support to the operations team lead to ensure the successful administration of the Fines Reform Act 2014.
- Exercising professional judgement regarding the application of standards of service and other relevant rules, policies and guidelines to assist in the day-to-day operations of Fines Victoria. This will include the determination of payment arrangements and enforcement review applications, as well as handling general enquiries.
- Providing accurate and timely advice with other Fines Victoria units, enforcement agencies, and other interested parties on infringement and other matters arising within the jurisdiction of Fines Victoria.
