The position of Executive Office Coordinator forms a part of the Office of the Lead Deputy Secretary, Corporate Services.
Corporate Services actively supports Ministers and DEDJTR portfolio groups to create the conditions for sustainable economic development and employment growth. The Group works collaboratively to deliver integrated and operational functions across the department, leading the development of governance, people, culture, systems and capability. Corporate Services deliver service excellence through collaboration with DEDJTR partners, stakeholders and clients.
The Executive Office Coordinator provides high level administrative support for the Office of the Lead Deputy Secretary and assists in the day-to-day management of the office. The role provides support in the delivery of whole-of-group projects and activities, and manages business administrative systems. Key focus of the role is managing office workflows efficiently, and ensuring timely follow up with relevant stakeholders.
Reporting to the Office Manager, the position requires you to have demonstrated experience in providing administrative and executive support to senior management in a demanding and sensitive work environment, excellent relationship building skills and well developed communication skills. Working in a small team, this position is ideally suited to someone with strong organisational and people skills and attention to detail.
