About Us:
 
The Coroners Court of Victoria (CCOV) is an inquisitorial jurisdiction. Its role is to conduct an independent investigation into reportable deaths and fires, for the purpose of finding the cause of those deaths and fires. By its work, the CCOV contributes to the reduction of the number of preventable deaths and fires, the promotion of public health and safety and the administration of justice.
 
About the Role:
Working as part of the Legal Services team, the Legal Administrative Briefing Clerk plays an integral part of supporting this busy unit undertaking a variety of administrative support tasks including the compilation of coronial briefs and maintenance of various records and registers. 
The role will require the incumbent to demonstrate a high degree of efficiency, requiring high attention to detail in the preparation of large documents for the Legal Services team, and respond well to time pressures in the work environment.
