Cladding Safety Victoria

The establishment of Cladding Safety Victoria (CSV) by the Victorian Government is a world-leading initiative. The $600 million program aims to make Victorians safer by reducing the risk associated with combustible cladding on residential apartment buildings and publicly owned buildings.

The Contracts Manager is responsible for leading contract management activities for Cladding Safety Victoria (CSV), working with suppliers and the business to ensure all supply contracts are managed appropriately. This role will support a range of stakeholders regarding commercial, procurement and transitional activities, in particular contract management. The role will provide advice on CSV procurement process and procedures and seeks to influence new directions in contract management strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the provision of expert contract management support and advice to stakeholders across CSV.
  • Manage key vendor relationships, including oversight of operations and performance of facilities, legal and other corporate services suppliers.
  • Manage strategic procurement activities for CSV in conjunction with internal clients and stakeholders, from planning through preparation and coordination of tender documentation, evaluation, and contract award.
  • Manage and contribute to contract management activities including negotiations, compliance and performance reviews, commercial analysis and management reporting.
  • Identify, analyse and resolve emerging issues, risks, opportunities and trends influencing CSV's supply contracts.
  • Develop and maintain CSV's contract management framework documentation and provide training and guidance to program delivery specialists on its practical application.
