Department policy stipulates that salary upon commencement is paid at the base of the salary range for the relevant grade. Any above base requests require sign off by an executive delegate and will be by exception only or where required to match the current salary of Victorian Public Service staff transferring at level.

Position Details

Are you experienced in building service delivery frameworks? Do you have strong leadership and management skills? Have you got a strong understanding about how the criminal justice system in Victoria operates? Do you excel in managing complex projects and identifying policy and program needs?

 

We are looking for someone like you to be our Strategy and Development Manager for a new authority that will oversee the ongoing supervision or detention of serious sex offenders who have completed their prison sentence and pose an unacceptable risk of committing further sex offences.

 

You'll establish the operational policies, frameworks and procedures for the authority and will work with the team to manage inductions and professional development programs. You'll also look after the reporting functions for the authority.
