Change Analyst – Technology Solutions

About us

The Change Analyst role is part of the NextGen Transformation Program. The NexGen team is part of Fines and Enforcement Services (FES) which manages three State contracts that support the functions of Victoria Police, the Director Fines Victoria and the Sheriff in Victoria's Fine system. The NextGen Transformation Program is responsible for the end-to-end business design of the new Victorian fine's solution. The NextGen team is responsible for defining the business and technology design principles, practices, and methodologies to ensure the fines platform not only supports the current range of FES services but is also scalable and robust enough to adapt to future change as required.

The NextGen team understands the functional and operational needs of FES users and customers, which includes fine recipients (debtors), back-office staff, field staff, and agencies. The team will use service design concepts and journey maps to design and deliver services and products that are ‘fit for purpose' and ‘fit for use' across the varied customer and user base.

About the role

The Change Analyst is responsible for identifying the impacts resulting from changes to people, process, systems and culture. The role will contribute to the development and delivery of key documentation to support the successful implementation of change activities resulting from that analysis.

This role will support the Senior Change Analyst and Change Lead in ensuring the overall change management implementation is aligned to the program, Model Office research and the business operations, including the key external stakeholders and users of the NextGen solution.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • the skills to adapt systems and processes quickly to meet changing priorities and situations
  • demonstrated stakeholder management experience
  • ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders and peers with the object of gaining co-operation and meeting timelines for delivery of project, service or advice
  • a qualification in Change Management, Program Management and/or Project Management is highly desirable
