About the Business Unit

The Road Safety Camera Program is a business unit within the Police and Community Safety Division of the Police, Fines and Crime Prevention Group in the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS).

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Audit Officer, the Compliance Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the delivery of contracted services and monitoring the State's contractors that deliver a wide range of road safety camera services. Responsibilities of this team include contract management, issue and risk management, change management, finance and stakeholder management.

The Compliance Support Officer will also work across a range of compliance activities that support the delivery of a program of work across two key contracts. You will be responsible for the maintaining tracking tools to meet the contractual requirements and to maintain regular communication with stakeholder and subject matter experts who provide input into these processes.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in compliance and/or monitoring service delivery against contract specifications
  • The ability to utilise advanced excel formulas, pivot tables and the generation of data charts
  • The ability to build a supportive and cooperative team environment, and suport others in challenging situations
  • The ability to assess situations and identify the best systems tools for analysing, understanding and addressing problems.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Contract compliance qualification or relevant work experience is desirable.
