Position Details
- Manage the day-to-day operation and administration of the Racing Integrity Commissioner's team
- An ongoing, full time opportunity
- VPS4 salary: $97,955 to $111,142 plus superannuation
About the Racing Integrity Commissioner:
The Racing Integrity Commissioner is appointed as an independent statutory officer under Part IA of the Racing Act 1958. The Commissioner provides independent integrity assurance of the Victorian racing industry.
About the Role:
The Integrity Team Coordinator supports the Commissioner and integrity team by coordinating complaints and referrals, assisting investigation and audit activities, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the team.
You will play a central role in managing case intake and all administration, reporting, finance and procurement processes, maintaining accurate records, and supporting integrity risk monitoring.
The role requires strong organisational skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage sensitive information in a confidential environment.
About You:
You are highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working with sensitive information. You can manage competing priorities, apply sound judgement, and maintain strong attention to detail.
You will also bring:
- strong administrative and coordination skills
- excellent written and verbal communication
- the ability to manage workflows and competing priorities
- sound judgement when handling confidential matters
- strong stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working in integrity, compliance, regulatory or government environments will be well regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Commissioner and team members, including:
- managing the administrative intake, triage and assessment of complaints, reports and referrals
- supporting investigations and audits
- coordinating day-to-day operations of the Commissioner and team, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining calendars, workflows and action registers
- supporting finance and procurement processes
- professional and confidential liaison with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate information requests, interviews, and meetings
- undertaking other duties within the scope of the role as required
