About the Business Unit:

Liquor Control Victoria (LCV) was established on 1 July 2022 and comprises the independent Victorian Liquor Commission and staff from the Department of Justice and Community Safety. LCV is responsible for issuing liquor licences and overseeing industry compliance and enforcement to ensure that Victorians and visitors to the state enjoy safe and responsible liquor licensed environments.

About the Role:

The Senior Project Officer RSA (Gendered violence) at LCV is responsible for managing the project, which involves the development of a number of tools to assist licensed premises to address and respond to gendered violence, including the design and development of mandatory training for the licensee and their staff. This program of work is part of a package of reforms on Victoria's family violence laws, announced in May of this year.

  • Understands issues related to gender-based violence including prevention approaches
