About Us:
The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria.
Technology Solutions and Data Security is delivering the Data and Digital Reform Agenda, which focuses on meeting the departments data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes.
Technology Solutions and Data Security explores and employs technology to enable the department's business to function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services. It supports enterprise-wide platforms and services including critical applications, networks, telecommunication, call centres, hosting, intranet/internet sites; delivers business and corporate funded projects; and oversees the delivering of services provided by technology service providers such as Cenitex.
About the Role:
The role will manage and lead the delivery of major projects and initiatives in relation to time, cost, scope and quality. This may include major business case development, undertaking strategic assessments, managing organisational change, and implementing ICT solutions.
Some of your other duties will include:
- Establishing effective stakeholder relationships and communication channels.
- Identifying and responding to new and emerging risks and issues.
- Working collaboratively within a team of multidisciplinary project managers, providing project management leadership, expert advice and guidance to project team members.
