  • Two Ongoing, full-time vacancies available, earning $81,496 - $98,955 per year, plus super.

What you will do

As service desk support officer, you will provide first-level technology support for staff across the department.

You will help people resolve technology issues while delivering clear and timely service.

You will:

  • provide timely support for incidents and service requests
  • assess, log, investigate and resolve basic software, hardware and application issues
  • keep customers informed and maintain accurate records throughout each request
  • prepare and update clear support procedures and identify opportunities for service improvements
  • work with internal teams and technology providers to meet agreed service levels.

About you

A relevant tertiary qualification is highly desired. An ITIL Foundation qualification is also highly desired.

You should also have:

experience using service management systems

  • strong customer service, spreadsheet and word processing skills
  • sound experience in request fulfilment, administration or a similar government environment
  • the ability to solve problems, communicate clearly, work collaboratively and use technology with confidence.
