Quality Assessment and Regulation Division
Do you have demonstrated management experience and strong regulatory skills to manage organisational risk in a high volume, complex organisational environment?
Do you have comprehensive knowledge in the area of early childhood education and care and/ or social regulation?
This is a great opportunity to join Quality Assessment and Regulation Division (QARD), as the Area Manager leading the QARD Eastern Metropolitan Area team.
Location: Glen Waverley Office / Site visits/ Flexible work location
The Department of Education is the Victorian Regulatory Authority for early childhood education and care (ECEC) services under delegation from the Secretary. The Quality Assessment and Regulation Division (QARD), in the Department of Education, regulates and quality assesses ECEC services. QARD drives the delivery of high-quality ECEC services and ensures the safety, health and wellbeing of Victorian children attending those ECEC services.
About the Role
Area Manager, Eastern Metropolitan Area
Tenure: Ongoing
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled senior leader who will be responsible for the supervision of the Eastern Metropolitan Area Team in QARD.
QARD is the Victorian Regulatory Authority for early childhood education and care services.
The successful applicant will have strong leadership skills, high level organisational skills and a demonstrated ability to manage organisational risk in a high volume, complex organisational environment. The successful applicant will have demonstrated specialist knowledge in the area of early childhood education and care and/ or social regulation.
The Eastern Metropolitan Area forms part of a larger region that extends to the Hume Area and as part of the leadership team, the position will involve travel across the North East Victoria Region and this will include overnight stays. This is a full time, ongoing position at the VPS6 level and will be based in the Glen Waverley Office.
