Join a team that's raising the bar
We're building a Payroll team that's known for its expertise, collaboration and commitment to continuous improvement. Our work matters because every employee relies on us to be paid accurately, on time and in accordance with legislation and industrial agreements.
We're looking for people who enjoy solving complex problems, are curious about how things can be done better, and want to be part of a supportive team where everyone contributes to each other's success.
The impact you'll make
As a Payroll Advisor, you'll help deliver accurate, timely and compliant payroll services while working across a variety of payroll functions, including:
- payroll operations and transaction processing
- complex payroll investigations and case resolution
- payroll governance and quality assurance
- position management and organisational changes
- continuous improvement initiatives and projects
You'll work with colleagues across People Services to solve problems, improve processes and deliver a positive experience for employees and managers.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who:
- enjoys working as part of a collaborative, high-performing team
- takes ownership and follows through on commitments
- is naturally curious and enjoys solving complex problems
- looks for opportunities to improve processes rather than accepting "that's how we've always done it"
- communicates clearly and builds trusted relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- embraces change and adapts quickly to new priorities
- values feedback and is committed to continuous learning and professional growth
- contributes to a positive, respectful and psychologically safe workplace where everyone can do their best work
- has strong analytical skills and exercises sound judgement when interpreting legislation, policy and industrial instruments
- maintains high standards of accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism.
What success looks like
In this role you'll:
- deliver accurate payroll outcomes that employees and managers can rely on
- build trusted relationships through responsive, customer-focused service
- proactively identify risks and opportunities for improvement
- contribute ideas that improve efficiency and service quality
- support your teammates and share knowledge generously
- help strengthen a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
Why you'll enjoy working with us
You'll join a team that:
- values collaboration over competition
- encourages innovation and fresh thinking
- supports learning and career development
- celebrates achievements and recognises contributions
- believes that great outcomes are achieved by helping each other succeed.
We believe great payroll isn't just about processing transactions—it's about solving problems, improving systems, supporting one another, and making a positive difference for every employee we serve.
