Position Details
About the Role
This position is full-time, fixed term or 2 x 0.5 FTE until the 30th of June 2026.
The primary responsibility of the School Improvement Project Support Officer is to provide high quality executive and administrative support to assist in the delivery of the Department of Education priorities, aims, and objectives.
The role supports the Senior Manager, Regional Operations Division and the Early Childhood Implementation Executive Director and their teams. Key responsibilities will include executive and administrative support, correspondence and record keeping, diary management, distributing information and materials to stakeholders, arranging office meetings such as booking and preparing venues, agendas, minutes, catering, and maintaining relevant databases and registers for tracking.
The role is critical to the effective operation of the Division. It will involve periods of sustained independent work as well as frequent and varied contact with Department employees. The role demands flexibility and the ability to work in a highly collaborative and supportive way with other staff across the region. The Administration Officer will demonstrate discretion, integrity and initiative in the performance of their duties, which include:
- Records management, including administration of divisional Sharepoint sites
- Procurement, including hospitality, travel, office supplies and general invoice processing
- General administration support such as meeting and event coordination
- Program administration support
- Project work

This role is located in the Regional Operations and Early Childhood Implementation Division, North East Victoria Region, SRS.
