Position Details
The Senior Secondary Pathways Reforms are implementing generational change across the Victorian secondary school system to improve student access to and participation in vocational and applied learning in senior secondary years aligned with their strengths and aspirations, so students complete schooling with the skills and capabilities needed for success in further education, training, work and life. This work is completed through 78 projects across 18 workstreams with nearly $1 billion investment.
Within the Senior Secondary Pathways Reform Taskforce, the Strategy and Program Management team leads the strategic policy and governance activities that manage the Reform program as a whole. The Senior Policy and Data Advisor will lead strategic policy projects that affect the Reform program as a whole. The successful candidate will apply their skills in research, sophisticated data analysis and development of policy projects; and key government processes including cabinet submissions, program management, executive briefings and governance activities, as required.
