Position Details
Fixed Term - Until 30 June 2026

Our goal is to make every interaction with the VSBA a positive one for our customers, colleagues and key partners regardless of our individual role or team.
Reporting to the Digital and Internal Communications Manager, the Brand and Digital Content Adviser is responsible for communications activities across a significant school and early childhood infrastructure program.
The adviser will work across public facing digital communications, with a focus on supporting website, social media, EDMs, branding and internal communications. The adviser will work with internal VSBA and DE stakeholders, external suppliers, and early childhood and school communities.
The role sits within a high-performing team, who deal with many last minute requests and work under pressure. The candidate will need to be resilient, flexible and adaptable to change.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with preparing and sending EDMs
- Assisting with updating the VSBA website
- Assisting with social media content planning, publishing and promotion
- Assisting with reporting on digital analytics and content performance
- Developing visual and written content to support the Social Media and Brand and Digital Strategy leads
- Project managing externally sourced content
- Branding
- Proactively identifying and responding promptly to internal, community and stakeholder issues associated with school capital works projects and developing mitigation strategies in consultation with senior team members
- Assisting the Digital and Internal Communications Manager to provide advice and support to the Authority's Executives, Ministerial Adviers and other internal teams on risk assessment, issues management, communications and content strategies using appropriate brand and content tools.
- Supporting with Ad hoc communications as required.
