Test Analyst - KIMS Reform

The purpose of this role is to work within the overall KIMS Reform project defined by the Project Manager and contribute to formal project reviews at appropriate points in the project lifecycle. You will be working with a Test Manager and other test analysts in an agile environment. You will support developers and product managers in achieving their goals and be on the lookout for ways to improve the performance of the product and provide your expert advice on the matter and will contribute across the full SDLC. Requirements: ; 3 years Functional/Manual Testing experience ; On-site experience ; Test execution from test cases. ; Test outcome reporting ; Exceptional communication skills ; Demonstrated ability to deliver testing outcomes with little supervision.

Position Details

We are seeking a high performing individual that possess the skillset of a Test Analyst to join the KIMS Reform project team.

You will use your testing expertise to conduct extensive testing of a new CRM system. 

To be successful in this role the Test Analyst will:

  • have atleast 3 plus years experience in testing CRM software applications ( Salesforce experience is preferred)
  • have knowledge of testing tools (JIRA, X-Ray, selenium)
  • have knowledge of agile  and waterfall projects
  • create and document test plans and test cases
  • execute test cases across all testing phases of project
  • liaise with Business Analysts to understand requirements   
  • liaise with development team to troubleshoot system defects

 The responsibilities of the Test Analyst are as follows:

  • Manage and document the complete test cycle of software development from requirements testing to user acceptance and release testing
  • Plan testing at different stages within the development cycle, including formulation of testing objectives and quality criteria, development of testing strategy and recommending testing approach; ensure cohesive integration of test and development activities
  • Recommend functional and non-functional testing standards and implement same within the software test cycle
  • Identify, design and develop test cases in consultation with Product Team based on product requirements
  • Execute integration and system testing of software
  • Organising and conducting user acceptance and release testing of the software
  • Design, develop and execute reusable and maintainable automated scripts using available tools
  • Monitoring testing approach to identify improvements to testing processes
  • Maintain effective test data (for. use in automated or. manual testing)
  • Recommend improvements to processes or. tooling
  • Prepare and submit reports on work progress on a regular basis
  • Liaise with development team on system defects
