Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, organizing and motivating project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering projects that provide exceptional business value to users. The Project Manager will need to exercise good judgement and skill in order to develop a project management approach that is suitable for planning and managing the effort to achieve the project goals within the designated project constraints. In performing these roles they will be expected to use a high level of knowledge and experience in blending traditional project management principles and practices with a tailored Agile development approach to fit large, complex, business critical projects with the appropriate level of planning and provide right balance of agility and predictability.

Position Details

Business Systems Unit (BSU) leads, develops and supports the department's Early Learning and Health and Wellbeing information systems, and collaborates on related organisational change. It does this by: linking ECSEG information requirements and their technological solutions; delivering services and projects for and on behalf of sponsors in ECSEG; and, supporting requests from regional offices and services across the state.

We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to plan, lead, organise and support multi-disciplinary project teams that support policy and practice. To succeed in this role you will demonstrate exceptional vendor and stakeholder management skills, excellent people skills and a collaborative attitude, and the ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.
