Position Details

The Strategy and Integration Division's (SID) primary purpose is to support the Deputy Secretary and Assistant Deputy Secretaries of ECSEG in the exercise of their functions.

The Division delivers policy and strategic projects, leads the design, development and the delivery of early years' management systems, and supports a strong focus on business controls across ECSEG.

Projects in the division ranges from business process re-design, improving funding frameworks, coordination of reporting activities across ECSEG and reviewing strategic investment analysis in the Early Childhood and Schools portfolio.

Key work will include supporting a team to deliver:

• State-wide release of the Catalogue of School Support Programs by Term 2, 2019.

The Catalogue of School Support Programs is an online tool for regional staff and schools with information on Department of Education and Training programs and resources.

• The coordination of ECSEG input to the 2019-20 Budget Estimates Public Accounts and Estimates Committee; and

• Contribution to other reporting activities in the division.

To be successful in the role you will have a background in program and project delivery, translating policy to implementation and a demonstrated understanding of the workings of government.

Your capacity to be highly organised, build strong relationships and networks with stakeholders will be critical to deliver project outcomes.
