Systems Administrator

Business Systems Unit (BSU) leads, develops and supports the department’s Early Learning and Health and Well-being information systems, and collaborates on related organisational change. It does this by: linking ECSEG information requirements and their technological solutions; delivering services and projects for and on behalf of sponsors in ECSEG; and, supporting requests from Regional offices and services across the State. The System Administrator (SA) is responsible for effective provisioning, supporting, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of applications. This role is as also responsible for ensuring that system related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, and users. This role will assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of the standard Project Management Methodology.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for effective provisioning, supporting, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of applications.

The System Administrator will be accountable for the Application systems that support Policy, Management; Responsibilities on these systems include provisioning, operations and support, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual innovation. have the ability to provide outstanding customer service, promote their extensive knowledge of transactional and relationship products and ensure that a customer is always made to feel welcome.
