Executive Support and Project Officer

This position provides high-level executive support to the Project Director, Literacy and Numeracy Strategy, including high quality executive and administrative support, management of services for office support, correspondence and record keeping, organisation and coordination of meetings, and application of administrative policies, procedures and protocols. The position also works within the team as a project support officer, with key responsibilities including the coordination of Literacy and Numeracy Strategy project tracking and planning and logistical support for project partners across the Department. This position requires the successful applicant to demonstrate high level interpersonal skills with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Executive Support and Project Officer

Applications are sought for a talented and enthusiastic candidate to join the Literacy and Numeracy Strategy team and be part of one of the Department's priority reform projects, as Executive Support and Project Officer (VPS4).

As the successful candidate for this role, you will have high level interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will constantly look for continuous improvement opportunities and ways to innovate.

You will also possess exemplary time management and diary management skills and assist the Project Director with confidential finance and HR matters.
