Manager, Multicultural Policy Coordination

Do you have a strong policy, project management and stakeholder management skills? The Secondary Reform, Transitions and Priority Cohorts Division is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead policy and coordination in the Early Childhood and School Education Group on issues relating to multiculturalism and intercultural capability. This role will support the Division’s work on multicultural-related policy and projects, including contribution to whole-of-government activities and reporting (for example, engagement with the Victorian Multicultural Commission, and the provision of support to the Executive Director as the representative on various interdepartmental committees. The role will also include working with other Divisions across ECSEG. This role will also work with other Groups in the Department and the VCAA.

Manager, Multicultural Policy Coordination VPSG6 full-time fixed term 2.5 years

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual to lead the management and coordination of multicultural-related policy across the Early Childhood and School Education Group in the Department.

Reporting to the Director, Priority Cohorts, the Manager, Multicultural Policy Coordiantion, will need strong policy planning and analysis skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. An ability to write effectively for decision makers and be proactive in leading and managing work is crucial.

This is a fixed term role for 30 months in the Department's Secondary Reform, Transitions and Priority Cohorts Division.
