Position Details

The purpose of this role is to provide corporate End User Computing (EUC) specialist capability including:

  • Third level support for end user devices including operational incident, problem and change management and technical and knowledge documentation creation
  • Maintain corporate SOE, SCCM and InTune
  • End user computing device management including Operating System deployment, software packaging and distribution, patching and updates (OS and applications), configuration policies, antivirus, drivers, testing, reporting, documentation
  • Investigate then implement opportunities for automation and process improvements for corporate end user devices.
  • Work with Solution Architects and designers to deliver projects.

To succeed in this role you will have demonstrated a high level of customer service skills, leadership, and excellent interpersonal and communications skills in addition to strong technical skills.

  • Experience in a government environment is highly desirable.
  • Essential: Minimum 5 years' experience in Service Now
  • Essential : Minimum 10 years' experience managing Microsoft Windows in an enterprise environment in Information Technology
  • Contemporary knowledge of information management technologies and their application within a business context.
  • Needs extensive experience in: -
    • System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) administration - Microsoft Intune administration - Application Packaging and MSI technologies in general - Microsoft Powershell scripting and automation -Windows updates and patching via SCCM and Windows Update for Business -Active directory Group policy configurations -Operating system deployment (ADK, MDT and SCCM) -Workstation Hardware driver management -Windows defender antivirus administration - Strong understanding of - ServiceNow development and administration -Networking technologies (LAN, WAN, WIFI) -Print management (Follow me print) - Windows Certificates - Microsoft Office 365 - Microsoft Azure - Mobile device management including Apple iOS and Android -SQL (SSRS) and PowerBI Reporting.
