Working closely with the Executive Coordinator, this position requires a proactive and confident approach to supporting two Executives and a range of staff and projects lead by the Tertiary Education Policy and Performance Division. Proven ability using Microsoft Office Suite, high level written and verbal communication skills and extensive Executive Assistant experience is fundamental to this assignment.

What an opportunity!

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a high-performing, ambitious Executive Assistant to deliver support to the Executive Director, Tertiary Education Policy and Performance, and Director, Tertiary Education Policy.

The Tertiary Education Policy and Performance Division advises government on current and future policy settings regarding the tertiary education sector. Working closely with the Executive Coordinator, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with the Executive team to ensure the day to day running's of the office are prioritised and managed.

This will include:

• Expert diary management;

• Correspondence oversight;

• Tracking of Ministerial briefings and correspondence;

• Stakeholder management;

• Application of administrative policies, procedures and protocols; and

• Supporting officers across the division with stationery, travel, account payments and ad hoc tasks (where required).

The successful applicant will have the ability to multitask, priorities tasks and deliver efficient and effective support in an autonomous manner, displaying good relationship management and communication skills for a fast paced and dynamic environment.
