Position Details

Project Officer - Ongoing - Full Time

An exciting opportunity is available to join a high performing and passionate team located in the Department of Education and Training to work on policy and programs to support Victorians experiencing disadvantaged to improve education and training outcomes that lead to sustainable employment.

You will be located in the Learner Pathways Unit of the Higher Education and Workforce division of the Higher Education and Skills group.

The Learner Pathways Unit is focused on increasing participation and educational and employment outcomes for Victorians experiencing disadvantage. The Unit has a critical role in supporting Victoria's economic recovery post-COVID by supporting vulnerable cohorts in engaging with education and training to attain the skills needed for employment.

You will bring your policy and program management skills to support the implementation of the Learner Pathways Strategy as well as the design and implementation of programs to support disadvantaged cohorts.

You will also need stakeholder management skills to engage and collaborate across the department, government agencies, training providers, community service organisations and other key stakeholders.
