Position Details

Strategy and Performance Lead - Ongoing - Full Time

The role of the Strategy and Performance Lead is to conduct evidence translation, undertake performance analysis and reporting for the work unit, examine and implement innovative approaches to the presentation of analysis that will support senior management and key stakeholders to understand system performance; report progress against project or program objectives; apply advanced analytical techniques to support strategic priorities; undertake consultation with key stakeholders, including TAFE institutes, central agencies, or their delegates, on performance analysis reporting to improve the evidence available and how it can be best used by stakeholders, provide advice aligned with TAFE Network sustainability and performance approach, including improvements. The role requires the ability to combine business understanding, creativity in data exploration, and highly visual and intuitive communication methods to deliver analytical findings.

Key accountabilities for the role include: demonstrate specialist skills in evidence translation and performance analysis to ensure that the team delivers outcomes aligned with the Office's wider strategy relating to the TAFE Network; provide specialist subject matter and performance measurement advice to inform policies, projects or initiatives and to enable effective decision-making and achievement of outcomes; conduct evidence translation, develop innovative approaches to the distillation and presentation of complex information and data for non-technical stakeholders and senior executives for Ministerial briefings; represent the work unit in a range of forums.
