An opportunity exists for an ongoing Executive Coordinator (VPSG5) in the Training Market Services (TMS) Division (TMS) of the Higher Education and Skills Group (HESG). TMS manages the delivery of the government subsidised VET training market in Victoria including contracting and paying training providers, ensuring contract compliance, strengthening the VET system through coordinated engagement with training providers and maintaining a continued focus on operational improvement.

Position Details

Within the Training Market Services (TMS) Division, the Executive Coordinator contributes to the achievement of TMS strategic aims through contributing high level expertise within the functional area and significant project, program and relationship management skills and experience. An Executive Coordinator applies innovative thinking to their tasks, promoting a culture of process improvement leading to better outcomes for TMS, HESG and the external stakeholders.

The Executive Coordinator oversights and leads projects and targeted tasks, remains flexible and responsive to a changing environment and provides well researched advice that informs and influences the attitude and behaviour of peers and stakeholders to comply with their responsibilities and obligations within the Managed Market. With well-developed verbal and written communication skills, the Executive Coordinator communicates clear and succinct information in a manner that meets the information needs of diverse groups.
