Position Details

The Provider Engagement and Sector Improvement Unit (PESIU) developed, maintains and updates the VET Funding Contract and related business frameworks to implement government policy priorities for the subsidised VET market, and ensure a fit-for purpose operating framework.

PESIU considers operational data and information gained through engagement with stakeholders to formulate insights about issues ad trends impacting the performance of the training market in the context of existing business parameters. Working collaboratively with stakeholder and key decision makers, PESIU identifies and delivers improvements to optimise the delivery of high quality vocational education and training.

The purpose of this role is to lead work relating to PESIU's communication and engagement agenda, and contribute to the delivery of the Unit's key responsibilities relating to business frameworks and sector improvement.

The successful applicant will be required to actively model strong engagement and communication practices. They will be part of a high performing team that will act as the steward of the system improvement narrative as it relates to the contracted VET market - what's working, where there are challenges impacting performance, and opportunities for making constructive change.
