Finance Analyst, Tertiary Education Performance Monitoring

An exciting opportunity exists for a finance analyst with broader skill set than just accounting, but who is also strong in data analysis and presentation. Preferably CPA / CA qualified (or working towards), the successful applicant must be able to test the integrity of financial data that is provided by TAFE institutes. Further, you must have experience analysing financial data and non-financial data preferably at both an organisational and sector level. You must also have advanced Excel skills and also proficient in using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI. You need to be able to work independently with minimal direction and need to have attention to detail. Position Details

FINANCE ANALYST, TERTIARY EDUCATION PERFORMANCE MONITORING

Working as part of a team responsible for acquitting the Department's role as owner of Victoria's TAFE institutes, the successful candidate will provide specialist advice and detailed financial and performance analysis of the Victorian TAFEs and tertiary education sector.

Their work will contribute to the provision of strategic advice to the Minister and Departmental executive on the health, risks and opportunities of individual TAFE institutes, as well as the TAFE and tertiary education sector as a whole.
