Position Details

This position is part of the Community Engagement team in the Victorian School Building Authority (the Authority).

The Authority is responsible for:

• Delivering the Government's $2.5 billion infrastructure projects for schools and early childhood centres

• Researching and implementing new innovative ways of building, design and delivery

• Focusing on community engagement so that communities get the educational facilities they need and know what is happening locally.

The Authority is engaging with the community on flagship school infrastructure projects as well as showcasing the efficient delivery of 56 new schools and more than 1000 school building projects.

We are seeking interest from a smart, capable and motivated community engagement/communications professional to join our community engagement team. Prospective applicants will need to have expertise in the following capabilities:

• Community engagement: stakeholder analysis and planning, leading and preparing for community engagement workshops, corporate event management, content production and brand management.
