The Victorian School Building Authority (an organisational body within DET) focuses on the delivery of significant school infrastructure programs across the state. The successful applicant will be able to review, enhance and ensure that projects are delivered effectively, assist in the development of new projects and possess sound written and verbal communication as well as analytical skills. Position Details

Senior Program Manager

The Senior Program Manager position sits within the Operations and Program directorate, which is responsible for delivering a range of programs. These services are delivered across Victoria.

The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for the lead role in delivering the Inclusive Kindergardens Facilities Program (ISF-Kinders) and assisting other programs within as necessary. The main duties of this role will include:

• Strategic leadership and overview of the delivery and outcomes of the ISF-Kinder Program;

• Scoping and planning the annual programs including developing program plans, monitoring and reporting strategic milestones including time, cost, scope and quality;

• In-depth understanding of the Program Policy framework in which the program is delivered;

• managing the performance of an external program management contracts to deliver the works;

• managing the program to meet the budget;

• Building positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate and communicate the successful delivery of the programs; communicating complex issues, options and solutions to executive management.
