Systems & Processes Support Officer

The purpose of the role is to provide support to the Financial Systems and Processes team by providing first line support, functional and technical advice and training related to Financial policies, processes, and systems. The Department currently uses Oracle Financials and Axiom. The role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all transactional and master data, synchronising it with feeder systems, managing regular quality checks through adherence to policies, systems, and procedures in a timely manner. In addition, the incumbent will assist with the maintenance of documentation on processes and system configuration of the Department’s financial systems and associated products and related procedures/training manuals. The incumbent will be required to prepare training documentation and impart training to the users of financial systems.

Position Details

Systems and Processes Support Officer

To be successful in this role you must possess a positive mindset/attitude, excellent customer service, and experience in providing first line support to users of systems.

You will be expected to drive service delivery by collaboratively working with users of financial systems through your demonstrated Relationship Building, Problem Solving, Planning, Organising, and System Support skills. You will have the ability to carry on the day to day activities related to various task concerning systems support. The Department currently uses Oracle Financials and Axiom.

In addition, being part of Financial Systems and Processes team you will have demonstrated experience in working with business areas in identifying business requirements, documenting them, translating them into technical requirements, and develop solution options.

You will also have experience in preparing training manuals and imparting training one on one, or in the groups.

You will have demonstrated the capability to support diverse staff with a variety of experiences and also be able to work collaboratively with staff across functional areas/divisions.
