An exciting opportunity exists to join the Senior Secondary Pathways Reform Taskforce in the Department of Education and Training.

The Taskforce was established to lead a generational reform agenda in response to the 2020 Review into Vocational and Applied Learning Pathways in Senior Secondary Schooling. These reforms will collectively support all Victorian secondary students to pursue high-quality and valued vocational pathways aligned to their strengths and interests and to finish schooling with the skills and capabilities they need for success in further education, training, work, and life.

The Senior Policy Officers will lead the development of policy and design activities as part of the Taskforce. Multiple positions are available within dynamic new and existing and newly established policy and program teams.

Key responsibilities will include: supporting project planning and management, conceptual framing and qualitative and quantitative analysis contributing to the design and implementation of stakeholder engagement activities, building and managing relationships with program delivery areas across the Department and the development of critical products to support senior decision making.

Experience in the education and training sectors, particularly in the design, delivery, and support of senior secondary vocational and applied learning, is highly desirable.
