Position Details

The Workforce Planning Analyst will coordinate data management and analysis processes associated with the collection, reporting and maintenance of workforce data to inform position management and workforce planning. In particular, the Workforce Planning Analyst is responsible for the ongoing coordination and improvement of position management data across the Department, to ensure an accurate and complete picture of the workforce.

The Workforce Planning Analyst will also contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Workforce Planning Team, and work alongside other data analysts in the Team. They will be required to work with staff at all levels of the organisation, including presenting complex information to various internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will have exceptional planning and organisational skills, both practically and strategically. You will also have excellent problem solving skills, a high attention to detail, and be able to deal with concepts comfortably. You will need to demonstrate advanced computer skills and extensive experience managing, analysing and reporting data (preferably workforce data). You will need well-developed written and verbal communication skills, which will support you to build and maintain strong working relationships and contribute as a valued member of the team.
