Departmental Liaison Officer

The primary role of the Departmental Liaison Officer (DLO) is to facilitate effective and timely communication between the ministers' offices, the Office of the Secretary (OOS), and the department. The DLO provides support to departmental colleagues to improve the quality and timeliness of services to ministerial offices and the OOS, as well as support to our ministers and their chiefs of staff on matters related to the efficient functioning of the relationship between their offices and the department. The DLO leads the work and supervises the performance of team members in Departmental Liaison Assistants and Departmental Liaison Support roles as required.
