Team Leader

Lead a team of dedicated consultants delivering recruitment and HR consultancy to Principals, HR administrators, regional colleagues and members of the public regarding employment in Victorian Government Schools. The Team Leader will be responsible for leading day to day recruitment operations in consultation with the leadership team to ensure excellent service delivery in a fast paced environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of projects that will build our people capability and be relied on for the strategic human resources consulting and advisory service you provide in relation to a broad range of recruitment human resources matters.

Position Details

An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated team leader to assist in the management of a team of dedicated HR consultants responsible for delivering high level consultancy and assistance to schools on the Department's online recruitment system and complex recruitment issues.

The successful applicant will have experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team and a strong attention detail, be client focused, have a professional phone manner and have the capability and experience of working with Microsoft office, in particular word, access, excel and outlook.

Key responsibilities are;

• Assisting team members with technical advice and/or support

• Providing advice on the appropriate interpretation of Department HR policy and or HR processes relating to recruitment and staffing in a school setting,

• Be available to work between the hours of 8 am to 5.30 pm five days a week.

• Provide advice and support on a range of recruitment initiatives

• Assist the manager with a range of activities, including reporting, writing and staff development
