Senior Information Analysis Consultant

The Employee Health, Safety and Wellbeing (EHSW) Division performs it functions through five teams that span from prevention, through to response and recovery, along with strategy, advice and support. These teams adopt a holistic approach for supporting the health, safety and wellbeing of our workforce across schools, central and regional offices. This includes Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Workers' Compensation policy advice and support, for both physical and mental health and wellbeing. This role is within the Strategy team and requires the successful applicant to provide data analysis on the Employee Health Wellbeing metrics to ensure a strategic approach in enhancing employee Health and wellbeing within the Department.

Position Details

An opportunity exists for a self-motivated information analyst to join the Employee Health, Safety and Wellbeing Division.  The successful applicant will work closely with colleagues across the Department and build strong relationships with corporate, regional and school-based staff. The purpose of this role is to:

• develop, maintain, interrogate and continuously improve data systems and reporting and insight, including future trend analysis, of employee health data to support the business needs of the Division and its clients

• participate in Division projects and initiatives designed to improve Workers' Compensation, OHS and other strategic wellbeing initiatives

• report on trends and data findings to committees and boards, and into associated papers including the Annual Report, as required

• manage the systems administration, business analysis, reporting and customer relationships management functions associated with Division Information Systems
