Senior Policy Adviser x 2 An exciting opportunity exists to join a high-performing team working on meaningful and substantial reform. The Strategic Policy - Early Childhood Division is seeking Senior Policy Advisers to contribute to the early childhood reform agenda and improve outcomes for Victoria’s children. The successful candidates will join a small team working in a fast-paced environment, leading research and analysis, developing policy options, and producing high quality written work. They will work collaboratively with others in their team, the Department and other parts of government to develop and progress reforms. There are two fixed-term roles available, one for 12 months, the other for 6 months.

Position Details

Senior Policy Adviser roles are available in the Strategic Policy – Early Childhood Division in the Policy Reform Group. The successful candidates will join a small, high-performing team that is working on genuinely exciting and innovative reforms.

This opportunity will suit those with experience in policy analysis and development, ideally in an early childhood, education or social policy context, and are looking for a new challenge.

You will be excited by generating ideas and being given the opportunity to present these in a persuasive way. You will work hard to prevent problems from emerging, and where they do, be driven to solve them. You will care about your work, and what it leads to.
