The Opportunity 

It is a great time to be joining the recently established in-house Evaluation Practice.  Join us from the start to build evaluation capacity within the Department and contribute to the development and expansion of the in-house Evaluation Practice. 

Key responsibilities of the Senior evaluations Officer include:  

  • Planning and management of evaluation projects in support of DET's 2021-2025 Strategic Plan, to ensure outputs are delivered on time,
  • Development of evaluation tools and outputs,
  • Communication of insightful evaluation findings,      
  • Quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, and
  • Establish and nurture collaborative partnerships to deliver evaluation projects and technical advice and support.

About You  

If you love evaluations, are confident in communicating with a range of stakeholders and partnering with them to understand their needs and can demonstrate an in-depth understanding and experience of specialist expertise in evaluations, project management, and stakeholder management, then this is the role for you.   

Although not essential, experience with evaluation in education settings would see you thrive in this role. In addition, experience working in government would also be advantageous.
