Manager Evidence Translation

An exciting opportunity exists within the Performance and Evaluation Division to bring together evidence across analysis, research and evaluation into influential products that guide departmental decision making. The Manager, Evidence Translation will work across the branch and division to integrate evidence across research, analysis and evaulation of system and area performance. This is a pivotal role to develop key products and reports that will inform planning and policy across the department and promote a greater understanding of impact. The Manager will also be responsible for a small high-performing team of 2 staff with skills in design, promotion and online communications.

Position Details

The ideal candidate will be curious and bring experience of using and critically appraising complex analysis, evaluation and research evidence. They will be a proficient writer and capable of translating complex information into engaging stories and products in the context of the organisational priorities and policy directions. They will communicate with clarity and authority and be adept at engaging senior stakeholders on emerging issues. Experience in government is essential.
