Position Details

School Engagement Officer

24 Months Fixed term - full time

The role is critical in ensuring Bastow’s regional delivery presence including continued expansion of delivery outside of Bastow’s North Melbourne base.

The successful applicant will implement and refine a ‘broker-based’ business and operating model to maximise Bastow’s reach while maintaining high standards of quality.

They will:

• Respond in a timely way to course enquiries providing advice that is tailored and cognisant of multiple school, teacher and network contexts and ensuring sales conversion.

• Develop an evidence based understanding of regional performance needs and provide strategic advice to the Bastow management team.

• Increase participation in Bastow courses and programs.

To succeed in this role, you will:

• Contribute to the strategic provision of Bastow courses and programs across Victoria with a focus on lifting outcomes for all children and young people at the local level.

• Support schools to build their leadership and school improvement capacity by providing a deep knowledge and understanding of Bastow courses and programs and provide advice as appropriate.

• Take a leadership role to engage schools, regions and networks by providing high level presentations at forums, conferences and workshops. This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills and develop your career.
