Senior Program & Policy Implementation Officer

This role is critical to effectively implementing the Department of Education’s new model of school review. A key Education State initiative, this role provides the successful applicant with the opportunity to engage with school leaders, external stakeholders and key Departmental staff. You will be working in a collaborative, high functioning team. Your main role will be to support the implementation of the new school review model by contributing to a range of project-related tasks and the achievement of milestones against tight timelines.

Position Details

This role requires you to be client focused with the ability to advise, support and influence key stakeholders involved in the implementation of the school review model.

As a team member, you will:

- support the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of school improvement activity

- develop and deliver a range of professional learning programs to key stakeholders involved in school review

- possess a solid understanding of data analysis to help prepare and deliver data for reporting purposes

- engage with stakeholders, including school and regional office executive-level staff, school reviewers and other service providers

- use highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

To succeed in this role, you will have advanced experience in the Microsoft Suite (e.g. Word, Powerpoint and Excel) and be able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
