Position Details

This role will provide expert advice and support within the Professional Practice and Leadership Division. The position ensures that the PLC Unit and PPWR is always supported with required background information, as well and ensuring reporting, briefings and correspondence are quality assured and are coordinated efficiently.

You will lead the work of the PLC team in developing a shared understanding of Excellence in Teaching and Learning, through regular consultation with the team and all stakeholders, including schools and regions.

The Unit Manager has responsibility in leading a large team in strategic evaluation of Professional Practice and Leadership Division's workforce reforms, navigating the complexities of managing a challenging range of stakeholders at the system level.

You will have excellent stakeholder management skills, an ability to work collaboratively across Divisions and Regions, and have a broad understanding of the priorities and operations of the Department of Education.
