Position Details

The Performance Division in the Regional Services Group drives performance improvement and accountability, providing a coordinated and coherent approach to mobilising relevant business areas and leveraging the regional architecture to implement and deliver improved results.

The primary responsibilities of the Manager, Implementation – Careers and Pathways will be:
• leading the regional staff recruitment process, including relevant induction processes
• ensuring appropriate capacity building initiatives are available for regional staff
• leading the development of key resources to support implementation
• coordinating and sequencing implementation of the strategy in consultation with regional staff and central program areas
• working closely with stakeholders across the Department to monitor and refine delivery through collection and analysis of implementation data.

It will be imperative for the Manager to develop strong and productive relationships with key stakeholders across and beyond the Department and actively model highly effective engagement and communication practices to influence practice changes in others. Deep content knowledge of implementation policy and practice is highly desirable.
