Position Details
The Security and Emergency Management Division's vision is one of education communities that are physically and psychologically safe. The Division's units are responsible for developing and implementing security, emergency and incident management policies and resources for all Department of Education and Training sites.
The role of Incident Response Officer will:
- liaise with police and other emergency services, security service providers and school leaders • liaise and provide support to alarm system technicians working on sites
- interpret alarm activations and exercise judgement in dispatching a suitable response.
This role is being offered in a casual capacity to cover shifts in the 24/7 control room and would suit teritary students.
